Bell Orchestre share another unheard gem, Quintet, featuring long-time friend and collaborator Colin Stetson on bass saxophone. The song was only featured on a highly limited Japanese CD edition of the band’s 2009 album As Seen Through Windows, but now sees its first official digital release.
"I have some incredible memories from my brief stint as occasionally joining these lovely friends on stages around the world and am excited to see this music flitting about once again," comments Colin Stetson.
Produced by John McEntire (Stereolab, Jeff Parker), drummer and producer of the legendary Chicago post rock band Tortoise, the record will be reissued in full alongside three previously unheard tracks on April 28.
