Rival Consoles shares Loraine James remix of Coda

Ryan Lee West aka Rival Consoles has shared a remix of Coda by celebrated UK producer, and long-time fan of West’s music, Loraine James. The remix originally made an appearance in Rival Consoles’ BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix broadcast in November last year. 

Kiasmos return with II Reworked

In July 2024 Kiasmos returned with their second album, II, to critical and fan acclaim. The album took Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen across four continents over the next 18 months, playing to sold-out audiences. Now the duo have entrusted five artists to completely reimagine it.

II Reworked will be released on vinyl and CD on July 3rd, with a digital release following on August 7th. Kiasmos and Erased Tapes are partnering with selected independent record shops worldwide to invite fans to come and listen to the full album together the evening before the album’s physical release.

Tyondai Braxton announces new album Splayed Werks

American composer, producer, and professor Tyondai Braxton announces today his new album Splayed Werks with the release of the track UnFS. The album is out on August 21 and marks his first full-length since the 2022 release of his symphonic work, Telekinesis. It reveals itself as unlike what came before, including 70+ minutes of pure electronics and sound design, comprising mostly sub-five minute tracks recorded in his home studio. 

Penguin Cafe announce reissue of long out-of-print album The Red Book

Erased Tapes are proud to re-issue The Red Book by Penguin Cafe, with an expanded vinyl track list which now includes the digital-only “And Yet…” plus two tracks from the limited-edition Umbrella EP. This new edition will be available on limited translucent vinyl and CD, both with updated art from Studio Torsten Posselt utilising the original drawing from renowned British sculptor and Simon Jeffes’ partner Emily Young. The reissue will be released on June 19.
