Today sees the release of Peter Broderick's new single Wild Food, taken from Blackberry, his latest album released on August 28.

"For a while I had the idea of making an album for children, all about wild foods. There would be a different song for each plant, and the songs would be catchy and full of rhymes, but also educational. Somehow that idea for an album condensed itself into this one song. When I shared the album with my dad, who is a man of very few words, he wrote me and said, “Wild Food is one of the funnest songs I’ve ever heard.” That’s enough for me, by golly!" — Peter Broderick
