Japanese vocal artist Hatis Noit was the first to collaborate with NYX, an electronic drone choir whose aim is to amplify mindful experiences, psychoacoustics and sound healing through an immersive exploration of ambient, experimental and electronic music. 

Making their live debut at the Pickle Factory last year, NYX tried to reshape the role of the traditional female choir, testing the limits of organic and synthetic modulation to explore the entire spectrum of collective female voice as an instrument. 

Over the course of the series, which besides Hatis Noit also features Gazelle Twin and Iona Fortune among others, NYX has invited each collaborator to perform in a deep listening space, replacing digital instruments and field recordings with collective female modulated or organic voice, improvising new material, re-arranging original compositions and together, creating a euphoric collective experience for audiences.
