David Dawson: The Human Seasons at the Royal Opera House with music by Greg Haines

13.8  2013

Greg Haines has been commissioned to write the music for David Dawson's new creation 'The Human Seasons', to be premiered by The Royal Ballet and the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in London on November 9th, 2013.

'It’s a great privilege for me to be able to create a work for full orchestra in a building as esteemed as The Royal Opera House, and also to continue my collaboration with David Dawson – something that began at the Muziektheater with the Dutch National Ballet last year and will hopefully continue on into the future.' - Greg Haines

The new work will be performed in the same evening as Stravinsky's masterpiece 'The Rite of Spring' and Wayne McGregor’s 'Chroma'.
